Obsolete Assets Tracking

Overview of the main fields and lifecycle stages

The Obsolete Assets Tracking module is used to register and track assets that are outdated, damaged or no longer usable. The form captures the company issuing the record, the date, and the responsible person handling the process.

1. Obsolete Assets Tracking Fields

The header section of the form contains the following required fields:

  • Issuer – The company that issues the obsolete asset record.
  • Date – The date when the asset is marked as obsolete.
  • Responsible – The employee responsible for assessing or handling the asset.
2. Document Lifecycle

The lifecycle at the top of the screen shows the current status of the obsolete assets record:

  • Draft – Initial state while the record is being prepared.
  • Scrapped – The asset has been officially scrapped or written off.
  • Undo – Used when the scrapping action is reversed.
